Never send Justin to farmers market alone. He came home with Brussels sprouts, Asian pears, regular pears, beets, eggplant, fingerling red and white potatoes, Jerusalem artichokes, corn on the cob, celery, cilantro, red cabbage, and Honeycrisp apples. There was probably more I just can’t remember it all! Then, the next thing he says is “ let’s go out to eat!”
How fitting that right before Indigenous People’s Day, we went to Laura and Lea’s combined birthday party to braid corn and enjoy good food! After that we were on to the cottage for time with family.Erich and his kids come up as often as they can. Cousin time is precious.
