Monday, 15 October 2018: Green Bay

Erich got here just before ten pm last night.  He brought not only Finn but also Brody.  Brody went right back to sleep once he hugged Captain Grandpa but Finn wasn’t so quick to settle and that set us up for a long night.  The house is torn apart with carpets rolled up, dining room chairs inside from the gazebo and tint on the last slab of the granite.

With Finn down for a early afternoon nap and Erich needing to study, Brody and I took Gemma to the vet in Luxembourg for her healthy vet check she needs to cross the border into Mexico.  No one has ever asked for her paperwork, but we get it both ways nonetheless.  We also stopped by Ron’s cheese to get ten pounds of two year cheddar for the winter.

Time for the game:  Lee was off the hook for babysitting. Since there were two boys, they were going to auntie Kris’s to have time with their cousins.  Jordan bought a ticket from a scalper so Justin was able to go to the game with both the boys.  I had scored a ticket with Anne Marie.  Her family’s tix are in the bowl, row 52 on the 40 yard line behind the home team.  These are great seats.  Our seats are real seats with backs, these are aluminum benches.  We are covered should it be raining or snowing and there is no cover here, but section 122 doesn’t compare to our seats in the nosebleed 723 section.  We were there in time to see Melissa Ethridge sing the star spangled banner.  She came back at half time too.  Packers came out on top at the end of a very exciting game.
