Last year on 30 November we closed on our house in Brussels. My what a year it has been. We left Green Bay as soon as we had signed the papers last year to head south. This year we have already been on the road for a month and we are already in Celestun.
We started the day with breakfast at Peter's. I started reading a book; nothing of substance, just a good beach read. Early in the afternoon we went with Peter to a property that is for sale. He envisions the five bedrooms with ensuite baths as a BnB where he runs his restaurant for breakfast and lunch. The buy-in is very reasonable and Justin and I are actually considering it! Are we nuts or what! Later in the afternoon, we met with Winkis to go inside the house on Dan's property. This is the first time we've been inside to actually look at everything. I took lots of pictures. The house needs a lot of TLC but it could be absolutely precious. Yes, Justin and I are actually considering it! Are we nuts or what! And of course, a third option is not to purchase anything. Too many choices...
