Even on “vacation”, life goes on. Still, stuff comes up and you need to deal with it. Justin lost his phone. He thought he left it in the taxi last night. So, this morning we were off to the airport to chase another lost phone. Justin wasn’t happy that we took that taxi at all; he said it was sketchy. He said I didn’t pay attention to his reluctance. And now a lost phone— aargh!!! Didn’t we go through this in Oaxaca?
Back at the Phuket international arrivals, we talked to about six different people and holy, moley Batman! We got the phone back!
Thankfully a different outcome than the one we had last January!!
With smiles on our faces, we were off Old Town Phuket. It was a lot like any other tourist town except everyone here speaks Thai. Justin is interested in silk shirts. I tell him we need to go to a tailor in Bangkok where he can get anything he wants made and they’ll deliver it to our hotel the next morning.
Dinner with our new friend, pool shark Suzie in our neighborhood, Mai Khoa Beach.
We headed to bed early with an alarm set for 8am. We won’t need it but that’s when I need to get rolling. Our driver will be here to pick us up at 9am. We are on the Lazy Day trip. The Early Bird starts at 6:40- yikes!
