Breakfast and then a nap. We were both still recovering. And then, we extended right here at the Pierre Hotel. We also booked our Air Asia direct/non-stop to Phuket.
Justin got a haircut; he gave the guy a B+ or an A- on his hair cut but a significantly lower mark for his beard.
Next stop: Angkor National Museum. We were there until they closed. These things always take us longer than projected. We'd read that going here first gave one a good background so that you might better understand what you saw when you go to the temples. I'd say that was great advice.
Today, I learned about the basic positions for the Buddha -- meditating (most often sitting with hand folded), teaching (sitting or standing with hands expressive) and having reached enlightenment (reclining). We also learned of the multi-headed naga who protected Buddah and of the story of the churning sea. Sounded a lot like the story of creation to me.
Today was inside; tomorrow is outside and the real deal.
