Wednesday, 3 April 2019: on our way— Mérida

The house is quiet.  Granite installation is complete.  

With the storm shutters closed and locked (sort of),  instructions shared with Abraham, money in the HSBC account for Peter, we were all packed and ready go.  Odometer - 28,743

Grelty’s birthday is 21 October. We need to be back by then.

We had an appointment with an accountant in Merida and Justin needed to get his teeth cleaned so we did a bit of divide and conquer.  The mouthwash Justin has been using since his surgery has caused his teeth to discolor dramatically.  Wonder why they didn’t warn us of this single side effect?!?!  Thankfully, they were able to fit him in for cleaning right away.

We spent the night at Casa Carmita ... my favorite hotel in Merida.  The owners there are so nice and they like Gemma.  I told them we’d be back next winter.
