Thursday, 2 November, 2017: Murfreesboro

We intended to stay two nights but Mary convinced us to extend our stay.  That flexibility is one of the biggest advantages of our travel plan.

After a lazy  morning we had breakfast at the Waffle House. It was the same greasy spoon that I remembered from probably thirty years ago but my pecan waffle sure was good. Justin had grits and they were just right.  We were back on dinner detail;  tonight's menu was shrimp and grits.

Justin and I have some nice Japanese furniture, antiques and artwork. Some of our treasures are in Wisconsin and more are in storage in Texas. John and Mary have some really, really nice Japanese treasures. They have done a great job of using their collectibles to accent their lovely home.
