Sunday, 3 September 2017: Brussels

Today brought great weather for the Kermis celebration in Brusssels.
Kermis is a Belgian tradition originally designed to celebrate the end of harvest.

We bought raffle tickets from Jason but as yet, they haven't called me to tell me we one the grand prize.  We met Jordan and his family there.  We ate tripp, jut, boyah and even an authentic Belgian pie.  The choices by the time we got there were rice and prune.  They were out of cherry so Justin opted for a cherry torte instead.

Jonas and Caleb enjoyed playing in the bouncy castle and then playing on the more traditional park swings and jungle gyms.  The music was what I am learning to expect -- kinda country, kinda rock, kinda ok.
