We’ve been in Mexico a little over a week. We are used to having our temp taken and obligatory sanitizer at every entrance of every store, restaurant and office building. We knew there would be the language barrier and masks amplify that issue.
It was 49’ at the noon kickoff at Lambeau Field. Jordan and Erich were there to see the Packers host the Washington Football Team (what a name!). Justin and I were at Boston’s in Mérida where it is was 90’ and sunny.
Last week Rudolpho hosted a game party at his house. We were invited but chose to go to Boston’s, our old haunt. This week the gang was back. Brian and his girlfriend, Berry, were floored when so many showed up at the official Packer Zone in Green and Gold ready to lead the charge to victory.
Justin and I had made our obligatory Home Depot run before the game where we wanted to buy Home Defense. We found what we hope is a suitable substitute. We want to spray in the closets and under the bed before we officially be back into our bedroom. After a quick trip to Sam’s we were back at our hotel to rescue Gemma. Last week I got all wrapped up in shows on the Food Network so I’m happy to spend my evening in front of the tube again. Tomorrow, more errands in Mérida before we head back to Celestún.
