Monday, 4 February 2019: Merida

Dellene left today.
After breakfast at Nichte-Ha we were on our way to the airport.  Justin and I ran our errands in Merida and made it home in time to have dinner with Steve at El Palmar. Patsy, the wife of the owner, is our girl.  I lost Dellene today but at least I still have Steve for a while.  He's not to impressed with the fishing here.  He's always wanted to go to the Caribbean coast of Mexico to check out the bonefishing.  This is as close as he's ever been so he spends his days researching and chatting with his contacts to see if he can find a way to make it happen.  Thankfully, he's laid in provisions of tequila and cigars and this research is serious business.
Dellene brought more bird decals and a single edged razor blade.  We have too many birds flying into the windows and the cats are quite pleased with their stunned snack -- hence the call for more deals.  Justin helped scrape off the old ones I couldn't reach.  Nearby, catching some sun, Electra didn't seem too upset by our work at all.
