Sunday, 23 April 2023: Winter Drive

We are back in Georgetown after a delightful weekend with Dellene. She had prepared a pot roast in the crockpot so the house smelled delicious when we arrived. I felt like a college kid coming home hungry and with dirty laundry. 

 Saturday and Sunday morning found Dellene and I in our element attending the Austin historical homes tour. Six houses on Saturday (and a perfect ladies lunch at a trendy Austin restaurant Dellene selected) and five on Sunday. What a treat to have timed our visit to coincide with this annual event. 

Hanging out, watching HGTV and Food Network was perfect!  After houses on Sunday Mike joined us for an early dinner at DeckHands. Dellene wore her ring!!!  (What does this mean?). After dinner we headed north to Georgetown and they headed south to Austin. Is this a taste of what it might be like if we lived here?  

Cate hosted the third open house yesterday. She said there was a bit more traffic… we will see.
