I received a Mothers Day message from Eric. It made me cry.   

We've been working in the yard. Seems as if we have more geese this year...and more goose poo.  I started getting the basement back together.  I am so, so glad to have that floor finished!  

Evan and Robin are coming to visit!  It will be fun to catch up with them.  They'll stop here for a break as they return from wintering in Florida.  

We took the house off the market — or actually, we suspended the sale.  Amanda says we can't have one foot in two camps...so we are going with mid-term furnished rental.  This gives us the option to stay in Georgetown when we are on our way south and then returning in the spring.  It's a good plan.  

We often go to Kellner's Farm to buy eggs and produce.  We totally took advantage of asparagus this spring.  We are enjoying it for breakfast, lunch and dinner.  There's plenty for the freezer too.  Yumm!

Evan left after three days.  Robin is still in Florida for a grandchild's birthday.  She'll fly to Wisconsin later.  He ended up coming three days early. Thank goodness I had already cleaned and put new sheets on the bed upstairs
