We got to see Aholi yesterday. Funny how one really needs a massage when they get home from vacation.
Perhaps the most pressing thing I had to do as soon as we got home was to schedule our jury duty. And, a plan comes through!!! Both Justin
and I are on stand-by for Monday, 30 March 2020 in Austin. Neither of us has ever served so we will see. Actually, since we are only stand-by I would imagine that we won’t even need to drive to the courthouse, but we will be there at the ready.
Perhaps the second most pressing chore was to take care of the dogs. We had rescheduled our drop off time for Chahook for today, so we loaded
her up to go to the shelter. We’d been down this road before but it wasn’t any easier. We left this morning before Abraham got back from Tetiz. Neither Justin nor I were very talkative throughout the drive.
After we dropped off Chahook, we stopped by the granite place. We still need the piece for the top of the oven and we need to have a piece
in the guest kitchen cut so we can install drawers. We also went to Sam’s and the plant store but we still made it home in time for a quick swim before dinner with
Robin and Evan. Tonight was their last night last. Sure we were in Cuba for 12 days but their month seemed to go by quickly.
