Monday, 14 January 2019: Casa Colibri

Sunrise in our courtyard

No water.  All day no water.

This was no inconvenience for Pilates and there was a full house -- even Mimi joined in.

Justin had bought a boat load of sour oranges so after a massive juicing session, we all had a few sour orange margaritas.  Yummy!

Late afternoon we headed to Poseidon for drinks. Carol joined us so at least she got to meet Mimi.  As we were heading home Carole realized she was locked out of her house.  She’d left her keys inside.  No one in town has an extra set except Pascal and he and his family were in Merida.  She called him and he said he’d be back to Celestun about 10 or 11. We chit chatted at our house for an hour or so and finally got Carole to agree to spend the night — yes, we really do have plenty of room.  Well, she actually didn't spend the night.  She made Justin promise to awaken her when Pascual got back to town and brought the keys.  She certainly could have spent the night.
