We watched the Texans stomp all over the Steelers. I was pulling for Aaron Rogers more than the Steelers. With this defeat, we must wonder was this his last game? The consolation prize is that at least a Texas team advances.
Big focus for today was planning our next steps. And laundry.
One of the temptations I tripped across when planning this trip was a cruise on a junk in HaLong Bay. Friends from DODDS said it was a “don’t miss” opportunity. Their experiences were from more than ten years ago however and these times they are a’ changing. We talked to so many people who related that HaLong Bay was so over crowded… so many boats. One new friend said it was a “scam.” We kinda wrote it off but it kept niggling. Well, by the time I got back to it, of course it was fully booked. Hue, travel agent extraordinaire, found an alternative option. That meant we had to reschedule our meditation retreat and jump through hoops to get transportation lined up from all points. We did it! All the planets aligned and we are set!!
Bought a bottle of wine yesterday and now I can’t find the corkscrew. Off to shop for a new one. Thankfully, we didn’t have to look too long. Unfortunately, the wine was super sweet. Oh, well… is sweet wine better than no wine? No, not necessarily.
