Justin and I left Green Bay on Tuesday to go to Chicago for a little getaway before I go on to Cleveland for a girls trip. We stopped along the way to look at a boat and then at a trailer and then on to Milwaukee to take our borrowed dog home to Erich. Soxx was great. We had very few mishaps. I’m reminded that, when I do get a dog again, I do not want a dog that sheds. He really was a good boy.
Yesterday Justin got us signed us up to go to a Hybrid Electric Marine Show. It was not at all what he expected but the afternoon was fabulous when we headed to the Frank Lloyd Wright’s house and studio. We did both the tour of the house and the walking tour on the neighborhood. Fabulous! The self-guided walking tour that was estimated to take 45 minutes took us a bit over two hours. If anyone wonders why we are going to south east Asia for 90 days, that why. We are embracing “slow travel.”
Dinner was at the Maharaja Grill. Fabulous! We were way too full. What a perfect day.
Leisurely morning in our hotel and a quick walking through a nature trail on our way to the airport. Yes, this time was a bit different than the last time Justin dropped me off at O’Hare. And now, on to Lorayne’s.
