An all too typical day at Casa Colibri:
— Ismael and Esteban arrived to install the mirror (We just ordered it this weekend. How cool is that!)
— Neli arrived to clean
— Ivan arrived to work on Abraham’s bathroom
— Hugo arrived to continue work on the garage.
The humongous project for this week was to secure "our guy" into the side of the garage. Watching our workers move the stone, hoist it up and secure it so they could do their masonry magic was something. No bones were broken, no fingers or toes were lost in the completion of this task.
What was special about today was that Kelli and Carl were arriving!
I prepared lunch yesterday so that left me to do small meddlesome tasks and pack.
Justin and I left to go to Merida. The flight left from Houston a bit late but arrived in Merida a bit early. It reminded me of the Seinfeld bit about making up time.
First stop for the tourists, the ATM machine!
