We left Austin at 6:05 this morning and crossed into Arkansas at 11:41. We were trying to loose the cloud cover to have a better view for the solar eclipse.
Our time with Dellene was fabulous. Always too short and this trip especially so, but we talked the entire time about everything in the world. She is so dear to me.

I just about came unglued when the rent-a-cop asked me to turn the lights off on my car. Yes, we left the car running; Gemma was inside. And, yes, our car lights were interfering with the darkness. No worries, I'll just hop up and run back to my car...I can come back tomorrow.
