We’ve seen some firsts in the last few weeks:
First time we parked the car in the garage
First time we slept in the family suite (again)
First time I made sheet pan quesadillas
First time I made some awesome peanut butter filled chocolate cookies. This recipe will make its way into the rotation for sure.
First time Justin baked a turkey -- ok, first time this year.
Tom and Meche came to visit. Not a first but the first time in a long time.
Work continues on the house. We torn out the shower in the main apartment. It has always been just weird. Now it will be better. Justin continues to work on "the guy" in the side of the garage.
Certainly not the first time but we are enjoying the beach every single day we can.
First time we bought wedding rings for someone else. Yes, Yoni asked Rut to marry him. Our gift was their rings. The three of us went to Merida bought rings and had them engraved. She said “yes.” It is so nice to be included in this chapter of their lives.
I’ve enjoyed this season in Celestun so much. Last season I was set to sell; this year I am enjoying it more. We host Pilates regularly, workers are in the house regularly and we provide lunch three to four days each week. It is all good.
