Friday, 28 January 2022: Mérida

Michelle didn’t feel well this morning. The top of her agenda was a COVID test.  No matter what, she’s negative and she can fly.  She did feel well enough to buy a hammock to take home.  Actually, her dad will carry it in his suitcase.  That’s a pretty good deal. 

After breakfast at a new little find at the top of Paseo Montejo, Hotel Casa San Angel, Michelle headed back to her hotel room.  That meant Cousin Mike and Justin were free to roam and look at property... they were looking a fixer uppers and dreaming.  It was rather hot in Merida today so a siesta was in store.

After a respite, we were all in for lunch at a great newly found restaurant very close to Los Aluxes, Nanchite.  The restaurant had only been open a day or two; we will be sure to go back.
