Monday, 13 March 2023: Córdoba through Puebla to Matahuala

 

On the road before 7am. No alarm clock required.  Gemma wasn’t really ready to get back in the car so she wandered around the parking garage, found a place to lie down where she could watch us load the car from a distance.  

Justin was ready to drive; the mountain roads going into Puebla make him wish he was in the EOS or something more sporty.  

We shopped too long in Puebla.  We'd found the motherload of talavera.  We’ve been stopping in Puebla twice year for the last four years.  How did we not know about the talavera Mecca that is there.  Justin just tripped over the info on Frog Alley.  We came home loaded with treasures and oh so I many more were tempting. I’m gonna need a bigger car!
Later...much later, we drove into San Luis Potosí too, too late.
