Justin had contacted the good folks at Sure-Dry to get our driveway leveled and resurfaced. They showed up today and said "no deal." We were torqued. Seems the salesman who came out earlier has a knack for overselling his product then when the guys show up who actually do the work... not a pretty picture.
Paradise North Distillery is right by South Bay Marina where Kelly and Carl keep their boat. On Thursdays they introduce their drink of the week. This week’s offering was a Daiquiri flight — classic, coconut, passion fruit and chocolate coconut. Justin and I drowned our sorrows in that flight and then we went on to real drinks. I had a real Cherry Bounce and Justin had a Gin basil sour. We just missed Kelly and Carl so we had to drink alone. I was a hardship.
We had a new friend so up in the garden. That kept us entertained for a minute or three.
