Saturday, 20 August 2022: Shelby, MI

Gemma fell in the lake.  well, that was a way to start the day.  Justin boarded Claude's boat next to us and got her out from then since he is much lower than we are.  Me?  I just panicked.  

Breakfast at Deb’s Café in Shelby, MI.  Shelby is about a 30 minute drive from our boat and well worth it!  Yummy!  They have a cinnamon roll breakfast sandwich that is delish.  That perfect combination of sweet and savory.  And, its big enough to serve a small family.  

I got caught in the quicksand of videos on boat restoration.  That took too much time.  When we went for a drive we tried to find the corn stand again.  Who knew Michigan had such phenomenal produce.  No corn today but instead we found  asparagus, apples, pears and even a Blueberry farm.   

White Lake Club sponsored a fish boil.  Justin spent his $20 to support their cause.  Me?  I passed.
