Justin groomed Gemma and I watched videos on how to make window coverings for the boat.
Lunch in another small Michigan town -- New Era; the restaurant was called The Artisan. I've been inspired to make tomato basil bisque when we get back to Green Bay.
Our plan for the day was to go to the Wooden boat show in Pentwater. We got there just in time to wave to Roger and Pat as they passed by in the parade. Justin and I had settled in with an adult beverage at the Pentwater Yacht Club to watch the vintage boats go by. Justin was not doodling, but he was close.
We met Tom and Sarah and the rest of the crew from our marina at Snug Harbor Marina. We walked around town with them for a while and foud a fabulous shop where they were making chocolates. Dark and milk chocolate turtles sure caught my eye. We’d passed on the chance to be sailing with them … we are not ready.
