Friday, 23 August 2024: Maple Beach Marina

 

We had dinner at Claude’s today and it was really nice. Great Lakes salmon is quite different from the really cold water fish but this was pretty darn good. And how nice that he included us in the dinner with a handful of guys he had in for a fishing trip. 

A big topic of discussion for Justin and me right now is whether or not we take the boat to Green Bay……???  Do we ask Curtis or Steven to go with us?  Lots and lots of pros and cons both ways. We keep weighing the decision. 

Last Sunday Justin went up to the club house and was visiting; I stayed on board to have another cup of coffee. After about an hour or so he called me. He said there was something up there I needed to see. I said ok, I’m on my way.  All the way down the dock I’m thinking it’s a puppy. No, I do not want a new puppy yet. No. A dog is a fifteen year commitment.  No. Not yet. Well, when I got there, I saw that Leslie had made Bloody Mary’s. My tune changed immediately. Yes, please.
