We’ve spent the last too many days unpacking, getting settled and working in the yard. Justin’s got all the tomatoes planted and a few other veggies in the garden and now he has plans for redoing the entire area down by the river to incorporate raspberry plants. I’m all in favor!
New rule: Leftovers are now referred to as “small plates”. Its all in the marketing right?
We went to a Blizzard game with Kelli and Carl. The Blizzard are an arena football team in Green Bay. That was a first for me and it is always fun to hang with Kelli and Carl.
We drove to Chicago today to meet Curtis and Steven. We picked up a Reynolds 33 sailboat and joined the caravan going to North Carolina. Four adults, four dogs, three vehicles and 140 feet of trailers of boats.
Curtis and Justin and I stopped for the night in Richmond, Indiana. Steven got separated from us somewhere along the way and he was too far off track. The construction in Indianapolis was a bear and the whole situation is just unfortunate. What happened to our caravan idea?
We did find time to stop in the National Air Force Museum. This time I got to go on Air Force One. |
