Thursday, 16 June 2022: Green Bay

After a few days of downtime at Steven’s home in Chocowinity, it was time to head back.  Once we were on the road, we just kept driving.  We left Chocowinity just after 9am yesterday and pulled in last night right around 4am.  I just wanted to be in my own bed.   We are way too old to pull an all-nighter, but we just wanted to be home.

Curtis was here in time for dinner as he picked up the Suburban.  We will keep the Sierra for the summer but the Burb is gone.

We had all kinds of hard work to do when we returned mostly in the gardens.  One exciting note is that we have turtle eggs in our garden.  Tony told us about them; so, in 90 days, somewhere right about 9 September … we will see.

Jordan and Erich got the dock set up in Brussels.  They wanted to get more posts for supports and they didn’t put the decking on thank goodness because a storm came through, knocked over and moved a neighbor’s boat lift and boat several hundred yards down the shore taking out our ramp too.  They were able to get it upright and secure in time for all the cousins this weekend.
